Gifted and Talented Education

Due to the State budget, school districts may “flex” GATE funding to support regular education activities.  The Board of Trustees has chosen to “flex” GATE funding.  Flexing allows for the suspension of all program mandates.  PUSD adheres to the GATE Plan as much as possible, focusing on identification, clustering, placement, and differentiation in the classroom.
